Kozykabin's Cottage was built in 1994 and provides the most up-to-date accommodations of the 21st century. It's perfect for a romantic getaway, a 'kozy' overnight with the family or a wonderful week long vacation.
Located 1 1/2 hours north of Toronto, Ontario, you can do what your heart desires. Hiking, golfing, canoeing, kayaking, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, cross country skiing, biking, swimming, shopping or pick up your favourite book and relax...there are endless possibilities!
Having lived in this beautiful part of the country, we’ve experienced all the wonderful things that the Grey-Bruce Region offers. We want to create a special place that is the perfect vacation retreat for you, your family & friends.
The cottage is a Viceroy vacation rental nestled in a 26 acre hardwood forest...enjoy the stream that winds through the back of the property...a short relaxing walk. It’s a place where it’s easy to imagine a simpler time - a place where you can relax, and recharge.
Start your day on the spacious front deck enjoying the view and a cup of coffee as the finches feast on the niger seed. You may even catch a glimpse of the numerous deer wandering through the bush. Inside the cottage, watch your favorite movies with satellite TV or play checkers in front of the crackling airtight wood stove. It’ll be hard to leave, but you’re just a short drive from Markdale, Durham, Hanover and downtown Owen Sound. Enjoy the snowmobile trails, 18 hole golf courses, 'Symphony in the Barn' , 'Summerfolk', exciting harness racing and casino, 'Ice Cream Festivals' and other area attractions.
As the day draws to a close, you’ll have front row seats to watch nature’s show as the colors of the sky change as the day unwinds. Sit by the campfire...enjoy searching for the Big Dipper. If you live in the city, you’ll be amazed at the number of stars in the skies at night!
